Fix Waiting for Activation iMessage, Facetime on iPhone 3Gs, 4 iOS 5.0/5.0.1/.51

How to fix iMessage and Facetime on jailbroken iPhone 3GS or iPhone? Ever since I got my iPhone 4 and jailbroken it on iOS 5.0.1, it's iMessage and Facetime won't activate. They both keep stuck on 'Waiting for Activation'. Fortunately, I found a fix for that.

What you will need:
Jailbroken iPhone 3Gs or iPhone 4 having Cydia in it.
Latest iTunes installed on your computer.
Internet connection: Wifi or Data

I have tried this on iPhone 4 iOs 5.0.1 Gevey Sim unlocked on bb 4.10.1 as well as on iPhone 3GS iOs 5.0.1 baseband 6.15.00. Before your proceed, turn off Facetime and iMessage from settings.

Launch Cydia found on your iPhone's springboard and go to Manage >> Sources. Tap Edit and then Add. Now write down the following and hit Add Source.
http://repo.binger.com

Once the repo is added, search Cydia for SAM and install it.

Once SAM has been installed, launch SAMPrefs found on your iPhone's springboard and go to Utilities.

Tap on Revert Lockdown to Stock. A success message will appear afterwards. Now tap on De-Activate iPhone (clear push). Again a success message will appear. Just hit Ok to dismiss.

Now connect your iPhone with computer and open up iTunes. If you get an error, don't worry it's just normal. Now sync your iPhone once by right clicking on your iPhone from left window pane and select Sync.

Once the synchronization is complete, open up SAMprefs from your iPhone and tap on More Information. If it says WildcardActivated, you have done everything right so far and are good to proceed.

Now return to SAMprefs main menu and go to Utilities. Tap on Backup Activation then on Restore Activation. Your device may respring after that.

Reboot your iPhone now and take a deep breath :p After that, sync your iPhone with iTunes once again. After sync is complete, go to Appstore from your iPhone and search for iPusher and install it.

Once iPusher has successfully been installed, reboot your iPhone. Now sync your iPhone with iTunes once again (this is the last time I promise :p) and then launch iPusher. Tap on Test Push Notifications field and wait for a while. It should say Yay, push notifications work fine!

Congratulations! Everything is fixed now. You can now go to Settings>> iMessage, Settings >> Facetime and turn em on. And you should now see them fully activated in a while. If they still fail to activate, just give your iPhone a reboot and try again.

Note: Make sure you have sim card installed on your iPhone and are getting service before your try to activate iMessage or Facetime as they both require service from your sim card.
